The terms governing your use of Inspire Generosity — what the service is, what it isn't, and what each of us is responsible for.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you (and, where you're signing up on behalf of an organization, that organization) and Inspire Generosity, LLC ("Inspire Generosity," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
If you're signing up on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization throughout.
Inspire Generosity is a software tool that helps nonprofit development teams draft fundraising copy — appeal letters, email campaigns, thank-you letters, and similar materials — using AI, grounded in the mission, audience, and voice information an organization provides.
The service is a writing and drafting tool. It does not send communications to donors on your behalf, does not process or handle donations, and does not have any relationship with your organization's donors. You choose what to do with anything the tool generates.
Inspire Generosity provides the capability to assist with fundraising copywriting. It does not fundraise, solicit donations, or act as an agent, counsel, or representative on behalf of any organization that uses it. Every organization using the service remains solely responsible for its own fundraising activities, donor relationships, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing charitable solicitation, including any state-level registration requirements.
We are a tool provider, not a fundraising consultant, registered solicitor, or fiscal agent. Nothing generated by or accessed through the service constitutes fundraising, legal, tax, or compliance advice, and using the service does not create any fundraising, agency, or fiduciary relationship between Inspire Generosity and your organization or its donors.
Account creation and sign-in are handled by our authentication provider, not by us directly — we never see or store your password. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You can turn on two-step verification with a text-message code, with backup codes, from Account & security in the app. You can also add a passkey and sign in with it. Both are optional, and sign-in doesn't require them.
The service is organized around organizations, each with its own subscription, data, and up to three members. You're responsible for who you invite into your organization and for reviewing what those members do with the account.
Paid plans are billed per organization, monthly or annually. Base is $69/month, or $690/year. Pro is $99/month, or $990/year. Base and Pro start with a 14-day trial. A payment method is required to start a trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel before then without being charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled. If you cancel, you keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for — cancellation does not immediately end access, and it does not delete your organization's data. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change our prices going forward; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers of material price changes before they take effect for a renewal.
The Mission Partner program is a separate path from the 14-day trial on Base and Pro, for organizations that tell us the cost is a barrier. Mission Partner is $1/month and renews until you cancel. It is limited to one application per organization and one per email address — ending Mission Partner status, whether by you or by us, does not entitle that organization or email to a new Mission Partner seat.
While active, Mission Partner is $1/month and includes the same product access as a paying Base subscription. It has no trial. A valid payment method is required. Ending Mission Partner does not by itself start a Base subscription.
We may end an organization's Mission Partner status at our discretion — including because donations appear to be flowing, because the organization appears able to afford Base at $69/month, for misrepresentation or abuse of the program, or because the program itself changes or ends. If we end it, you have 14 days to subscribe to Base at $69/month yourself, using the payment method already on file. Nothing switches you to Base, and nothing is charged unless you subscribe. Access ends if you do not subscribe before that window closes.
The Mission Partner program is not a guarantee that Inspire Generosity will produce any donations or fundraising result for your organization — see Section 3 above, which applies here as well.
Copy generated by the service is produced by AI models and is a starting point, not a finished, verified product. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific context. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and approving anything generated through the service before you use it in any real communication with donors or the public.
We do not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, that it will comply with any specific regulatory or organizational requirement, or that using it will produce any particular fundraising or donation result.
You agree not to use the service to:
We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates this section.
You own the specific copy generated for your organization through the service, and may use it freely in your own fundraising communications. We retain all rights to the Inspire Generosity software, platform, branding, and underlying technology — using the service doesn't grant you any rights to those beyond what's needed to use the service itself.
You retain ownership of the information you provide about your organization (mission, audiences, writing examples, and similar profile content), and grant us only the rights needed to process it in order to provide the service to you.
The service relies on third-party providers for authentication, payment processing, hosting, email, analytics, and AI-generated content. The list of who receives data is the vendor page. How that data is handled is also in the Privacy Policy and on the Security page. Those providers' own terms may also apply to the parts of the service they support.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or as reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, though data retention follows the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
To request a full-organization deletion or a data export, email info@inspiregenerosity.today. We complete that deletion or export within 30 days of a verified request. Deleted data may persist in Cloudflare's D1 point-in-time recovery history for its retention window before it ages out. This repository does not record that window.
If we confirm a security breach that affects your data, we notify affected customers without undue delay, and within 72 hours of that confirmation.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inspire Generosity will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of donations, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Inspire Generosity harmless from any claim arising from your use of the service, your fundraising activities, or content you generate, distribute, or use through the service, including any claim that such content violates applicable law or a third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@inspiregenerosity.today.
We're happy to walk through anything here in plain language.
