The terms governing your use of Inspire Generosity — what the service is, what it isn't, and what each of us is responsible for.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you (and, where you're signing up on behalf of an organization, that organization) and Inspire Generosity, LLC ("Inspire Generosity," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
If you're signing up on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization throughout.
Inspire Generosity is a software tool that helps nonprofit development teams draft fundraising copy — appeal letters, email campaigns, thank-you letters, and similar materials — using AI, grounded in the mission, audience, and voice information an organization provides.
The service is a writing and drafting tool. It does not send communications to donors on your behalf, does not process or handle donations, and does not have any relationship with your organization's donors. You choose what to do with anything the tool generates.
Inspire Generosity provides the capability to assist with fundraising copywriting. It does not fundraise, solicit donations, or act as an agent, counsel, or representative on behalf of any organization that uses it. Every organization using the service remains solely responsible for its own fundraising activities, donor relationships, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing charitable solicitation, including any state-level registration requirements.
We are a tool provider, not a fundraising consultant, registered solicitor, or fiscal agent. Nothing generated by or accessed through the service constitutes fundraising, legal, tax, or compliance advice, and using the service does not create any fundraising, agency, or fiduciary relationship between Inspire Generosity and your organization or its donors.
Account creation and sign-in are handled by our authentication provider, not by us directly — we never see or store your password. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
The service is organized around organizations, each with its own subscription, data, and up to three members. You're responsible for who you invite into your organization and for reviewing what those members do with the account.
Paid plans are billed per organization, monthly or annually, and start with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start a trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel at any time before then at no cost.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled. If you cancel, you keep full access through the end of the period you've already paid for — cancellation does not immediately end access, and it does not delete your organization's data. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change our prices going forward; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers of material price changes before they take effect for a renewal.
Copy generated by the service is produced by AI models and is a starting point, not a finished, verified product. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific context. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and approving anything generated through the service before you use it in any real communication with donors or the public.
We do not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, that it will comply with any specific regulatory or organizational requirement, or that using it will produce any particular fundraising or donation result.
You agree not to use the service to:
We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates this section.
You own the specific copy generated for your organization through the service, and may use it freely in your own fundraising communications. We retain all rights to the Inspire Generosity software, platform, branding, and underlying technology — using the service doesn't grant you any rights to those beyond what's needed to use the service itself.
You retain ownership of the information you provide about your organization (mission, audiences, writing examples, and similar profile content), and grant us only the rights needed to process it in order to provide the service to you.
The service relies on third-party providers for functions like authentication, payment processing, cloud infrastructure, and AI-generated content — details on which providers and how your data is handled are in our Privacy Policy and Security page. Those providers' own terms may also apply to the parts of the service they support.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or as reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, though data retention follows the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inspire Generosity will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of donations, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Inspire Generosity harmless from any claim arising from your use of the service, your fundraising activities, or content you generate, distribute, or use through the service, including any claim that such content violates applicable law or a third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@inspiregenerosity.today.
We're happy to walk through anything here in plain language.
